We all woke up at around 11:00A.M. because we slept so late from yesterday.
We really didn't have much else planned for the trip as most of the bigger tourist attractions
like Easter Islands are extremely far, so we settled to go to San Cristóbal Hill, which is in the northern part of Santiago.
You can reach the peak of the hill by either cable car or a long hike. Of course, we chose the hiking trip as it'd be boring to take a cable car on our last day in Chile.
The hike took an hour, but it was very exciting. We met many people who were also on vacation in Chile and really want to experience the trip through hiking.
I met someone else from who came from North Dakota, USA, so it was nice to see another American in a foreign country.
We got along very nicely. My family and I finally reached the peak and it's absolutely breathtaking from here.
You can get a great view of Santiago from the peak of the hill, as well as the mountains. On top of the peak is also a beautiful statue of the Virgin Mary.
Definitely worth the hike, and definitely worth the entire trip.
Pretty much what we've done in a list:
Good actions give strength to ourselves and inspire good actions in others.
