Stavanger

As I head into my last week of my roadtrip, I would like to go back into hiking! I love challenging myself in a physical aspect and if I'm being honest, I am in love with Norway's landscape. Before I head back, I would want to spend most my last week with nature! I will not actually spend most of my time in Stavanger. Stavanger is like a "checkpoint", and from there, I will set off into the municipality of Strand in Rogaland county.

Preikestolen

Mountain

Preikestolen is a steep cliff which rises 604 metres (approximately 2,000 ft) above Lysefjord. To get to Preikestolen, one needs to hike! Preikestolen has such an amazing view; it is a perfect place for sightseeing and taking pictures! If I could, I would spend a few nights here and camp! Below Preikestolen is Lysefjord, the last place I'll visit for my roadtrip!

Lysefjord

Fjord

Lysefjord will be the last place I'll visit. Much like Trollfjord, it is two mountains with a narrow pathway that is big enough for boats to be used. Being my last place to visit, I'll be sure to take pictures and enjoy the moment. This fjord has villages! Lysebotn lies at the eastern end of the fjord and the villages of Forsand and Oanes are both located at the western end of the fjord.
