Oslo

After spending my first week hiking and connecting with nature, I would like to take a step back and connect with other aspects that Norway has. In Oslo, I plan on visiting Museums that cover Norway's history. It will be a week where I get to cool down! I plan on visiting a total of 3 museums!

Vigeland Museum

A Museum

Vigeland Museum is dedicated to one of Norway's most well known scupltors, Gustav Vigeland. Gustav Vigeland was born in the year 1869 and passed away in 1943. The museum is Vigeland's former studio and residence. After Vigeland passed away, his ashes were placed underneath the tower of the museum in honor of his work!

Fram Museum

Museum with a Big Ship

The Fram Museum highlights a story of Norwegian polar exploration! One of the main exhibitions in the Fram Museum describes the three great Fram expeditions and it's Norwegian polar explorers; The explorers are Fridtjof Nansen, Otto Sverdrup and Roald Amundsen! The Fram Museum itself is extremely interactive and has a lot to offer!
